Console Beeps Disabling on their own

I've run into an issue where my only console has decided it wants to turn off the console beeps on its own. The console beeps fine when buttons are pressed, but it will no longer beep for opened zones, trouble, etc, and most importantly entry delays (since those entering the home no longer know to deactivate the alarm until its too late).

I am able to reactivate the beeps by pressing 0 and then 1, but after a short while it disables itself again. I have also checked the console settings menu (4 + up arrow) and confirmed the beeps are on.

I've checked my automation and there are no programs set to disable the console beeps

HAI tech support was equally stumped and suggested a replacement console--to me this seems as though it would be a software issue, not hardware. Anybody else run across this issue??? Thanks in advance!

Yes, I've been seeing it recently as well. I've been doing the 0 and 1 option as well. I haven't noticed the problem coming back but I may not have noticed...
I had assumed I was bumping the 0 during install.

Are you sure the console beep in the console hardware is enabled?

The key click and beeper are different settings.

for me, yes. I've run into this 2 or 3 times in the last year at different customers. I haven't nailed the exact sequence down if its a specific firmware revision...

I came to this discussion as this recently happened to me after updating firmware to 3.14a.  None of the other suggestions seemed to fix it until I reset the system RAM from a keypad console.  This is under 9=SETUP > #=INST > 6=MISC > RESET SYSTEM RAM? 1=YES.  Entry chimes are back to working correctly.  Hope that helps anyone else dealing with this oddity.
