Console placement?

Enough KP's need to be installed to facilitate ease of use, but the real rule of thumb is they should be installed both inside controlled and secured space(s).
 
I would not count exclusively on an iWhatever (or droid) as a primary means of UI....what happens when iOS10X Wonka scrumdelicious comes out and it's not stable or doesn't work?

Oh I didn't want to rely on iOS to arm disarm. Thought it may be good enough for bedroom, running on a dedicated iPad. Just to arm stay mode. As I'd have a wall mount iPad there anyway for lighting etc.
