ControlThink Introduces First Upgradable USB Z-Wave Controller

I'm not sure what changes are required for HomeSeer and CQC and others to support the new stick but my guess is that it's not an easy thing to do.
David - We haven't tested it specifically with HS2 but it appears to be very close in design to our own 'SmartStick' so it could very well work without a whole lot of tweaking. If anyone's tried it, please let us know.

It's all about size and price. In this case the Thinkstick is smaller than the Z-troller  Less expensive too.
The Z-Troller is a self-contained Z-Wave controller AND PC interface, all in one device, so it will naturally be larger (gotta put the batteries and LED display somewhere!) and more expensive. The ThinkStick (like our SmartStick or any other USB interface) is not self contained and requires a laptop or PC for initial Z-Wave network setup. Each design has its merits.
