My RC-80B has gone mute after an unfortunate encounter between a squirrel and the transformer high tension lead on the pole outside our house. Now, even though it controls the heating/AC, it won't communicate with my Homeseer computer any more. It was working perfectly for a couple of years before the "squirrel flambe' " incident.
I've talked to HAI, and they've told me to just reprogram the stat, which I've done.
The HAI web site has a listing for a PC communication program that could be used to troubleshoot thermostat communicaitons, that used to be for sale at HAI. It was called RC-200 PCStat software. HAI technicians would only tell me that it is not available any more.
Does anyone have a copy that I could use to troubleshoot my thermostat? Of course, I'd only use it for that one purpose and then delete, because HomeSeer is my main controlling app.
