Custom RS232 programming with OmniProII

I have a bespoke lighting fixture that is controlled by an Arduino. I'm looking for a way to send custom RS232 commands from an OmniProII to the microcontroller. Right now, I'm parsing out the built in Somfy commands for on/off, but would like custom controls for this fixture's specific functionality.

I'm not sure how/where to start creating custom commands for Units in PC Access. Any help would be very appreciated.

You could use ProLink. This is a simple way to send and receive short ASCII commands. For more information on using it you might want to do some searches on the HAI knowledge base (kb.homeauto.com). There are even some application notes with real world examples.
