Dimming Led bulbs par 20 8 watt

I have Three lamps installed on a 600 w dimming switch HAI when I tried to dim it just turns off or back on if I try to ramp up
I started with just 1 installed and it worked fine with the two par 20 50 watt lamps it was only after I installed the other two that it stopped working and I think it is because there isn't enough load for the switch to operate is there any way to fix this problem as I would like to replace more lamps in the house with LED but it is all controlled by HAI dimming switches.

Possible not enough load. But,

I have two of this type of bulb over my sink controlled by a SA dimmer.
They seem to operate fine, ramp up and down.
They do flicker a bit during the ramping, but steady up at the new level.

I assume you are trying to dim them manually at the switch.
Have you tried sending a specific level via UpStart or the Omni?

The LEDs don't dim like incandescents so it's difficult to detect visually.
You may be holding the dimming rocker down too long and they are dimming all the way down past their minimum voltage and shutting off.

I had two incandescent and 1 led on the switch everything worked fine when i changed the other blubs to led they stopped dimming and would only turn on or off
have tried with pc access as well as switch

If the switch steals its power through the load and does not use a Neutral power connection. That is the problem.
The incandescent bulb provides a path for the switch to get its power with out having to go through the LEDs electronics.
I have an EcoSmart 8 watt dimmable LED that works fine with dimmers using a neutral but not work with ones that are two wire.

Switch has a neutral it is an HAI switch and Sylvania ultra LED dimmable bulbs

Is the HAI switch on the LED manufacturers approved dimmer list? Some manufacturers have a list that says what works well and what doesn't. It may be worth looking in to.

I'm using 3 Philips LED 8 watts dimmable bulb (Par20) on a single circuit and it's working perfectly fine with the SA US11-40 Switch.

For what it's worth, I bought about 50 of these bulbs from Lowes when they were on sale for $10/each (they're under $13 now)... I have them dimming just fine as the only lights on each circuit... all on Simply Automated switches.

It may be worth trying different bulbs - they're definitely not all made equal.

I contacted HAI and the answer I got from them was that the dimmer switch made by them is not compatible with led bulbs , guess i will have to try a different supplier for the switches any suggestions.

I use all those LED bulbs listed above with Simply Automated switches - both the 1140's and the 240's and they're working fine.
