I am looking for my first real security DVR and had a question:
Do all of them offer synchronized playback of multiple cameras? If not, who offers it and what do they call it?
To clarify, if I had a 4 channel DVR, with 4 cameras, I would like to be able to watch a playback quad split of all 4 cameras at once. It seems like this would be the easy way to watch a perp/child/pet/babysitter move around your house/business. I would assume you would have to use continuous recording to make this watchable, although it could be kind of cool to watch a quad split and have some sections just go black/blank when there is no motion at that camera.
