eKeypad/cbus setup?

It's hard to find information on the eKeypad support for C-Bus.

I assume it requires that C-Bus is connected directly to the M1 and lights can be controlled by the M1 before it could work with eKeypad.

Is it fair to say that the M1 is the hub for eKeypad and whatever can talk to the M1 will be controllable with eKeypad?

Thanks in advance

ewiz,

I am sorry for the limited information on the eKeypad support for C-Bus. It has been hard to create a set of directions since I do not have a C-Bus install myself. Several people at Ness are part of my Beta testing group and have help confirm the correct operation. I am in the process of updating the web site and will reach out to Ness to help me add more detailed instructions for C-Bus.

Your assumptions were correct though. eKeypad is using the M1 as a proxy to control C-Bus. You are also correct in that anything that can talk to the M1 will be controllable with eKeypad.

That sounds great. Excellent find on the C-Bus integration document.

I hope eKeypad is able to provide you with an easier and more convenient way to access and control your security and automation solution.

Lots of new and exciting things on the horizon for eKeypad. So keep an eye out!
