Elk area account numbers?

My Elk system has a single area 1. If I only want to report zone alarms, I assume I put the monitoring company account number in the area 1 account field - the only problem is that the field is 6 digits and I have a 7 character monitoring account - 5 digits and 2 characters. Am I missing something here? Also, if I only want zone alarms to be reported, do I need to set any of the options 13-17 (page 22 in the installation manual)?

I should have deleted it from the Home Automation forum. It is specifically a security issue.

Ask the central station monitoring company about the two characters. They may be line numbers which is not part of the account number. You can only enter upto 6 digits for the account number. The line number is handled with the telephone number in most cases.
