Elk EZ8 enrolling wireless door sensor - DCS

ELK EZ8 with caddx wireless

Using ElkRP I enrolled a wireless motion sensor with no issue.

I tried to enroll a DCS wireless door sensor. I typed in the code off the sensor, but no action.
I tried to enroll from the keypad, but it won't let me choose a location.
It defaults to 097, but I try to type 098 099 100 etc it won't let me

I have 97 through 112 for the wireless shown.

Any suggestions?

Silly question, but do the up/down buttons work @ the keypad? When you're looking at the zone number, you should be able to scroll up/down and see your existing zones, etc.

Also, this is unfortunate, but sometimes brand-new wireless sensors will have dead batteries (sitting on shelf too long; bad batch, etc) - so if you really can't get it to register, you may try a different sensor or a new battery to rule out problems with the sensor itself.

I tried the up/down buttons.
They do not work.

I cannot switch.

Not sure what to do now.

Is this on the 548E receiver or Elk's RF2G?

I removed the wireless adapter and re-added it in ElkRP.
Now it is ok.

If this was the first zone you tried to configure on a grouping that was added previously, you may have encountered a particularly annoying bug where the wireless zones seem to convert to wired zones for the whole grouping if no wireless sensors are added immediately. Wish I'd remembered this earlier to suggest.
