The ELK M1 Driver for Premise Home Control has been moved to the Downloads section. Please post commentary in the associated Support Topic.
The finished product will behave like Premise's existing HAI driver. If you experiment with the HAI driver, you'll get a good sense of how easy it will be to control an M1. Plus most of the M1's services will gain a web-UI without you having to write a single line of code.
Teasing? Nah!
Enticing people to try Premise? Yup!

I want the first beta-release to be full-featured and solid. Everything in the Reference Manual must work as described. The beta-tester's role will be to confirm that the driver's services work correctly in their test-environment which will undoubtedly be different from mine. I suspect that this is where the driver will require corrections because I failed to anticipate all possible ways an M1 can be used.
At the moment, I'm still fine-tuning the driver for my M1 environment. Most things work and a few are incomplete (mostly because they seemed easy and I skipped them and moved on to harder stuff). Thermostat functionality will definitely be released untested because, as mentioned, I don't have access to one.
HA is my hobby and I work on this project in my spare time. As a consequence, it is difficult for me to commit to a firm release date. My best guess is that I'll be able to issue a beta-tester's manual and the first beta within two to three weeks.
