Hi. I have a USB Phone Adapter and I think it's from Von-Phone that I've purchased and I used it with Skype. From my cordless telephone that's connected to my adapter, the sound quality is clear for the caller.
I have the voicemail system answer after 60 seconds. With Elk M1 Gold, I set the # of rings before answer to 2 and selected ring, hang up, and answer to Yes in my keypad.
I've realized that my phone adapter is not accepting the star key, but is used as a toggle. between PSTN and USB. For that, I've wasted my phone balance for my pre-paid cell phone (just went from $15 to $12 with 15 cents a minute on one day, so even if made call is completed within 15 seconds, that's still rounded off to 1 minute).
Has anybody tested Skype with Elk using a phone adapter?
