Elk M1 Relays and Outputs

Har5d as I try, I can't seem to get a handle around how to use relays and outputs and how to wire them. Is there some place I can get help.

For example do the outputs depend on rules and certain security event? How can I nuse relays effectively?

Any help is appreciated.

Outputs on expansion cards are generally controlled by rules. Outputs on the M1 might be used natively and/or used by rules, it depends upon your hardware configuration and desires. Relays aren't difficult to use, can you give us some idea what you would like to control so that we can give you better examples or advice?
