Another question as I get closer to initial power-up of the ELK (a little anxious here). Initially my detectors will be wireless (CADDX 448E) and I will have a single wired speaker - ELK-73. Do I need to place a resistor across each of the 16 wired zones and Output 2 or can I simply disable them in the control?

The zones can be disabled but you still need one on output 2 if nothing is connecting to it.
