Elk M1 with HAI HLC and Somfy

-Will the ELK M1 interface properly with all or any of the HAI HLC line?
-Has anybody actually tried and interface an M1 with Somfy RTS? I am thinking this one

should work but would like to get some feedback and get the "warm and fuzzy" before spending the money. Also looking for other suggestions.

Yes, the M1 will work fine with all HAI HLC devices, they are just plain UPB devices.

I don't see any reason the M1 (with a relay board) will not work properly with the Somfy dry contacts.

I have the Somfy RTS attached to my ELK M1... works great, no problems.

speaking of somfy, is there a way to buy just the motors/hardware without having to go thru a fabricator that builds the whole thing (material, fabric, shades, blinds, etc). Its a bummer you are forced to go with a fabricator.

How does one know what blinds these motors will work with. Will these only work with roller shades, or will they work with pleated shades, etc.
