Elk M1G z wave polling

I am thinking of moving my zwave network over to the elk but many of my switches are older intermatics that require polling to keep the status up to date.

Does the elk with the specialized serial expander and vrcop support polling of loads?

I would be interested in this as well. I have a few GE switches and an Evolve that do not report real time status like the Leviton switches. When I use the <POLL command the light status doesn't update (and polling takes LONG TIME) so I'm not sure how else to get the status.
