Elk M1XIN "wireless" group \ Voice Announcements

So I have Elk MG1 with a M1XRFTW on group address 2 and a M1XIN on group address 6. Per the manual, this addressing scheme should be valid so long as I don't need more the 64 wireless zones (which I won't.) However, ElkRP shows the M1XIN as a wireless group. Wondering if this is normal or if I'm missing a setting?
 
Not sure if it might be related, but I haven't been able to get the voice announcements for the M1XIN zones to work. They work fine for the zones hardwired directly to the M1G.

If the zones for the M1XIN are showing up as a wireless group, I'm thinking that maybe when you added the group, you accidentally clicked on New Wireless Zones rather than New Hardwired Zones in the RP Zone Input menu.
 
Try deleting the M1XIN group and then add it back in.
