Elk RP nit

I re-arranged my area definitions, changing everything that was referencing area 1 to become area 6. So at this point, there is NO area 1 defined.

When I bring up RP (1.6.22), connect to the panel (4.4.12) and click the status button, I get a display showing area 1 and "invalid", see below. There's a tab for Area 6, which, when clicked, shows the valid zones and status.

Seems like RP should be getting a list of valid areas and selecting the first one vs defaulting to area 1?

p.s. I'm sure some will ask, why move everything to area 6? That's because I'm getting ready to wire up the outbuilding which will contain 4 areas, defined as areas 2-5, with a common area, which can only be area 1. If we could specify which area was the common area, then I think I wouldn't have had to do the re-arranging.

Go ahead and define area 1 even though you may not be using it.

I don't believe this question has ever come up before!

Well, I would if I could...

The original query was why RP wouldn't get a list of valid areas from the M1 when showing status.

However, I did try to simply define area 1. If I do just that, nothing else, and send to the control, a "check for conflicts" reports that area 1 is defined in the database, but not in the system. Below is the differences screen shot. Sending again and checking again reports the same conflict.

The only way to get out of the loop is to remove the area 1 definition from RP.
