Elk Rules issue: FOR

I'm having a problem with my Elk Rules when using the FOR option as below:'

WHENEVER Back Door (Zn 2) BECOMES NOT SECURE
   AND IT IS DARK OUTSIDE
	  THEN TURN Backyard Lighti [84 (F4)] ON, FADE RATE = 0 FOR 10 MINS

When I open the back door, the light comes on, but it never turns off after 10 minutes no matter what. What am I doing wrong?

A known Elk firmware issue, it should be fixed in the next release.

Got it, thanks. Anybody know when the firmware fix is going to be released? Nobody seems to know. For now I'll try the unused output switching as a workaround.

Hmmm. I've got a couple rules set up to turn lights on then off after several minutes and they have always worked fine. My firmware is 5.1.24

This issue may only apply to Insteon and the ISY. I happen to know that the OP & I use both. What technology/interface are you using?

This definitely is -- or was -- an issue. I have a bunch of rules dating from my M1 install about two years ago, where I am using "shadow outputs" as the timers for my lighting (all X10) because of this very problem. I have upgraded the firmeware in that time (to 5.1.8) and I think -- not positive -- that it was now working for my more recent rules.
