Hi,
I've recently installed an M1G and everything was working well, however on the weekend I added a new Input and Output expander to the system, and ever since then the audio from the internal speaker has an annoying crackle sound.
I've double and triple checked the terminations on the data bus, and can't see anything wrong. My setup is:
Data Bus Homerun 1 = KP2 (terminated)
Data Bus Homerun 2 = M1XOV (no termination), M1XIN (terminated)
The speaker is the Echo Speaker/Siren unit, connected with standard speaker wire to the main panel (about 3m away).
The new In/Out expanders are working as I would expect and there are no trouble indications....
Could it be noise from the data bus getting into the speaker wiring? I'm a bit lost on what to do/check next to eliminate the crackle.
Geoff
