Problems with Connecting the Elk Two Way Transceiver on a Retrofit Data Bus Hub

WAIT......

You have the following:

JP3 on M1 ON
JP1 on DBHR ON
JP2 on DBHR OFF
JP3 ON
JP4 ON
JP5 ON

And it works? That's how it's supposed to be, just like I told you post #11. It's still just 2 branches, the hub and the panel. The devices connected to the hub don't matter in relation to the branches of the panel.

You're overthinking here.

@DEL - I think he is saying it works with the just the one keypad on branch 1, and no jumper on JP2. So just one termination on branch 1, not 2 terminations. The XRFTW is not connected to anything in this case.  But with a jumper on JP2, it does not work with just the one device on the branch.

@RAL sorry don't think i did not see all this.  i ditched the retrofit for the normal DBH and went that way and all worked first run.  had to restrain my OCD need to figure out the problem and just drive around it this time.  thanks.
