First 802.11n webcam on the horizon

Obviously, it requires an 802.11n router with WPS support, but it says it specifically targets mobile 3G connections, so hopefully they have a client for that. I don't know why they even mention a wired version... that's just another webcam.

Wireless N for use on 3g??? 3g is nowhere capable of wireless N speed. You are lucky to get 802.11b speed on 3G. A .11b network cam should pump out more than enough video unless you are trying to do full screen 1024x768 or something

I have an iphone, and 3g in my area, when I tether my laptop to the phone and use it over the 3g network, it is a noticeable difference than when using my 802.11b wireless in the house. (I know .11b is slow, but I have all the PC's in the house wired except my laptop, so its not a problem).

i agree... i don't think it was supposed to be that you require wireless-n to use 3g... i think it was supposed to be special that it had special interface for 3g devices rather than the standard still pictures, for example, on my panasonic's mobile interface.

I keep tring to teach you guys, don't buy into marketing BS. So what if it's N if the lens, sensor, chipset, streamer or firmware sucks.

PS Nothing is worse then buggy unstable firmware on an IP cam, yea I have been there and done that.
