Garage door notification

What's the cheapest way to have a text/sms/email/etc sent to me when my garage door is opened? I have a Visionic Powermax+ but I don't think that supports this feature.

I'm sure it's not the 'cheapest' way, but I'm doing that through Insteon with an EZIO2x4 (an I/O module used to control and monitor my garage doors) from SimpleHomeNet and an ISY (Insteon central controller used to manage links, run events/triggers, etc.) from Universal-Devices.

I use HomeSeer to email me when my garage door is opened between the hours of 8AM and 4PM (the hours no one is home). It also includes a series of 4 pictures taken when that camera senses motion. My wife always wonders how I know she stopped by the house in the middle of the day for lunch. <_< You can also have email sent to your cell phone as well.

I doubt Homeseer would be the cheapest way <_< If I remember correctly, you should be able to do this already, a buddy of mine has a VisionMax system, and I am pretty sure he was doing some sort of cell phone notification.

Yea, I forget HomeSeer isn't $39 any longer but it does offer more than just garage door indication. :D

I think all you need is a PowerMax+ and a Powerlink but I myself have never played with Visionic. I have heard mostly good things though.
