GC-CGX IR Converter Cable

I'm just curious why i can't go 1/8" out of here right into my xantech (as i do in the xantech output into the IR jack on my receiver).. Are the infared emitters provided with my GC different as well?

I don't know your neeed answer as I don't own any of that hardware, but it might be that the signal voltages are of different levels. I know this problem exists when connecting the Ocelot IR to differrent hardware.

I believe that xantech is a 12v system where the other is a 5 volt system. There were some common examples but I could not remember them off hand.
