GRI-2600 wired in series?

I planning on using these water detectors in all my bathrooms. I'm thinking that I will have one behind the toilet and one under the sink. Since I think that I only care if a leak is detected in a specific bathroom, I may not care if it's the toilet or the sink. Visual inspection should spot where rather quickly.

So I'm thinking of saving 1 homerun wire by connecting two water detectors is series. Does this sound OK?

Yes, as long as the sensors are "normally closed".

I have the same plan but just have not gotten around to installing them yet. Make sure that run is a 22/4. You would connect the green/white (zone) pairs in series and the red/black (12v power) leads would all just connect to panel or your 12v supply in parallel.
