Haiku HAI and the iPAD

HaikuHelper is now available on the Mac App Store!

@SHRemote: the above suggestion by charliebarns would be the best solution. We will do some testing here with locking enabled to see if we can make it work better.

Do you have a direct link? When I stark "haiku helper" in the Mac App Store I don't get any results. Also if I look at the Nullriver Inc. page it only shows Connect 360 and MediaLink.
Thanks!

If you like the idock there is no reason you could not create your own solution at a fraction of the cost. You could mount it on wall vs in wall and make the process even simpler.

The only real challenge is the power supply but for people who DIY HA, that should not be that much of a challenge.

But I do like that iDock look!

Thanks for posting the link lupinglade. I didn't realize HaikuHelper required 10.7. I still haven't upgraded from 10.6.8 yet; are there Lion-specific features that you are using?

Is there a known issue on the iphone 4s with ios5? I am trying to setup my system and I just refuse to type those keys for the thousandth time. So I am trying to switch between my email and Haiku but when I come back to Haiku it crashes and restarts the app?! I restarted my phone thinking the memory was junked up but doesn't seem to have fixed it.

heffneil: Did you update to Haiku 3.42?

I am running the latest version from the app store? I typed it all in manually and it shows the controller but says everything about it is unknown. When I press on it it shows the next screen and then reverts back to the listing of controllers. This is the only one I have in there and it doesn't seem to work?

It looks like you have entered the wrong address, port or private keys. Please re-enter/re-check all of these. As long as there is a working network connection and its possible to connect to the controller (ie. no firewall etc), and the IP/host address, port and private keys are correct the connection will work.

Unknown is displayed because a connection has never been established.
