HAI Camera Server Motion for Dummies

I am trying to set up motion from a camera to trigger an event through the OPII. These is what my logic tells me to do although I could be absolutely wrong.
Any inputs or corrections would be very welcome.
Once the motion has been set up (area, sensitivity and size) and enable through the settings page on the server's webpage:
1. Enable DO1 on the server webpage.
2. Run the cables from the server (DO1) to an input in the OPII.
3. Name and select a Zone Type (any suggestions with this? I just want the motion to be a trigger for an event, not to actually set off the alarm).
4. Program the desired command with motion being the trigger("not ready" is what I think would be the right condition).

set zone type as auxilliary
4. Program the desired command with motion being the trigger("not ready" is what I think would be the right condition).
"not ready" is your trigger, condition would be when "away"..It will look something like this

when motion not ready
and if away
then your desired action
