I was woken a 2am today to the alarm blazing. The high winds knocked out the phone line for a couple of minutes and then everything was back to normal. One problem I did encounter was that I was not able to turn off the alarm at the keypad. I had to pull all power from the system until the phone line was restored. In the meantime it set the controller to not alert on dead line detect by changing the field in PC access to 0. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so are you turning off the dead line detect? Would the new HAI cellular backup solve this problem? Why couldn't I turn off the trouble at the keypad?
