Which lighting and audio distribution systems would be recommend with the HAI Omni ProII, that would give me the ability to:
(House has wiring for audio / coax / cat5 / and wires to every light switch / wiring for control panels / wiring for motion and cameras)
-Use ipad / iphone / other RF controllers / Mac, as the main control options. (preferred instead of more elaborate wall panels)
-Iphone and remote ability to operate distributed audio system, turn lights, security etc, on and off.
-Want to be able to do my own macro setups and adjusting of system without going to an installer (like with crestron products)
-Audio sources would be - itunes, pandora, internet radio mostly (also cd, fios music)
-Video sources would be - fios, apple tv, netflix, blue ray, cameras.
Since I have all the lighting switches with cat5 wires - does it make since to use a wired system, more (reliable?) or do I need to use a wireless system to take advantage of RF controls?
Audio: Russound has apps for the ipad and iphone control ... other systems better combo with HAI?
thanks,
Patrick
