HAI Omni Question related to UPB switches

I'm planning on installing the HAI Omni IIe panel down the road, 6-12 months. Before then, I plan on getting my UPB lighting up and running.

I was under the assumption that the HAI PIM and switches integrated better with the HAI panels vs. the standard UPB switches from PCS. I was curious what the extra integration was?

I understand the PCS swtiches feel different for the paddle press and I'm curious that if I like the PCS switches better if I'll be giving up anything (other than money) by going with the PCS switches and PIM.

Thanks,
Josh

HAI's HLC is an "Engineered Lighting System" meaning that they did the work to make it easy for you to install and program when used with an HAI panel, if you follow their guidelines. When using Simply Automated or PCS in your case you would have to "Setup" the entire lighting system yourself using the UpStart programming software by creating links between devices called, you guessed it, Links. If you are planning on using any devices not manufactured by HAI (receptacle, fixture module, I/O module, etc.), you are going to have to be familiar with UpStart anyway. So it really comes down to how much you like the HAI devices vs. the PCS and how much time you want to spend programming.
