HAI Pool Alarm Partition, custom siren pulse

Hi there, we have a client we are installing HAI for and they have a pool that they want protected for their kids. We would like to setup the 1st partition to be all the normal security zones of the home and the 2nd partition being part of the pool alarm, this includes a contact on the gate, a trip wire from a camera looking directly at the pool, some photo beams on the patio to detect someone in the pool area, and a some door sensors I have questions about. We want the exterior doors leading to the pool to be part of the security system (partition 1), and part of the pool alarm (partition 2). How can we achieve this? would we need extra zone inputs to wire the door to both partitions or can we do something internally in HAI?

My next question is about the sounding of a pool alarm. The interior of the house has standard interior sirens and we would like to use the yelp tone for burglar alarm, have hai pulse the steady tone for fire alarm, and then we would like to do a custom pulse with the steady tone during a pool alarm (partition 2). Is it possible to setup an output that could provide 1/2 second on, 3 1/2 second off for pulsing during this alarm?

Thanks for any input
Ryan

tsasecurity,
I am hoping to piggy back off of your first question.  I also have an HAI install (OmniPro II) and have a similar scenario.  I have my house and attached garage setup as two separate Areas.  I would like to have an Exit/Entry Delay in both Areas for the single door in between them.  In other words, if you are coming from the Garage to the House I would like it to activate the Entry Delay for the House.  If you are coming from the House to the Garage I would like it to activate the Entry Delay for the Garage.  Is there a way to do this or am I overthinking this and causing myself problems.

I should mention that the reason the two are setup as separate Areas is because of advice that I saw on here.  I have wireless Keyfobs for Disarming the Garage when you come home.  I did not want the wireless Keyfob to disarm the house in case someone got their hands on our Keyfobs.  I should also mention that there is a keypad for each Area on either side of the door.

I did some more research and in my scenario I would have to wire two contacts for each door that I wanted to be on both partitions. One contact for partition 1 and one for partition 2.

In your scenario how would the system know which direction your coming from in order to decide which partition needs to start entry delay? Seems like youd need a motion on both sides or a motion on one side and overhead door contacts for your garage. Or maybe you could write rules saying cause the entry delay for the partition that is currently armed (i take it when the scenario happens you are talking about one of the partitions is disarmed while the other is armed?). Im just brainstorming here, dont have a real answer to your topic
