HAI RC-80 not communicating?

Folks,
The new Omnistat controls the furnace just fine, but the OmniLT controller can't control the RC-80. It reports 68 degrees no matter what the real temp is, and changes to the OmniLT never get to the RC-80. How to diagnose this, please?

I'm guessing you've checked your cabling.
