HAI Siren/Sounder Issue

I have an OmniII Pro and have my internal sirens wired to the box correctly. However when the Alarm is tripped, they don't come on.

I touched the wires to the battery and they work, so I know the sirens work.

Is there anything I need to do in PC Access or am I missing something in the wiring?

Try this.. go to "outputs" under Setup tab. Check outputs 393 and 394. 393 should be set as interior sounder and 394 as exterior sounder

I just checked. Both units 393 and 394 are grayed out. Unti 393 is set to interior sounder and 394 to exterior sounder, so I think it looks right.

Is there something else I can check?

Also verify that they are set properly in the controller by using a console to check "Setup | Installer | Control" and scrolling to the interior and exterior sounders. Also realize that depending on the type of alarm you are tripping there could be a delay before the interior and exterior sounders start sounding. For example, tripping an entry door will start the console/touchscreen beeping but not the interior and exterior sounders. After the entry delay expires the interior sounder will start. After the outside siren delay the outdoor sounder will start.

To Brian,

When those are grayed out, that means he is using PC access user edition?
just curious.

I have the same problem. I spoke with a tech from HAI this week. He told me I needed a driver to actually get audio to my sounders as the Omnis provided strictly voltage out. I ordered an Elk driver but havent received it yet to try it out.
