HAI snaplink iPhone 5 issues

I am unable to retrieve my HIFI 2 settings for my iPhone 5 APP. Every time I try it starts to retrieve and then crashes.

Is this a known issue with the iPhone 5?

I had the same issue, and there are similar comments on the Apple app site for the snaplink. Not sure if the HAI folks are aware.

If you try many times you may get lucky, it seems to disconnect too early. You can try disabling all other wifi devices and place the phone next to your wifi router. We have several iPhones, and one managed to get the setup, the others gave up. I hope HAI will address this issue soon, otherwise you cannot change anything and re-download.

How long does it take for HAI to respond to these threads?

Do they value their customers?

HAI documented a workaround. Add one letter to the name you've given the account.
Retrieve your settings.
Change the name back. I ran into this as well. Changing the name worked.

My workaround is simply to click in the Encryption Key field to bring up the iPhone keyboard.  Then proceed with retreiving the settings and everything works fine after that.
