HAI UPB switches compatible with ELK?

Hi,
  I am in the process of selling our house and I am thinking about taking half of the UPB switches in our HAI based automation system. I am planning to install and ELK-M1G and wanted to confirm whether the UPB switches are compatible with it.

Yup - if you're not using an HAI panel, switch them over to UPB mode (not much of a change - just program them via Upstart and they'll work just like any other UPB switch) and you'll be fine.

Thanks. After looking into it more it looks like I will need to get a M1XSP and a PIM-R to get it to work. If this correct? 
I am also planning to get an ISY99 to control some Insteon Devices. In this scenario am I able to control either UPB or Insteon from the ISY or the ELK?
 
Are switch/device states replicated from the ISY99 to the ELK and viceversa?
