Having problems geting rs232 terminal server running

I have a couple of SGI EL-16 terminal servers (they are rebranded digi etherlite16's) and I have had nothing but problems getting them configured under windows XP SP3. I have found what I think are the correct drivers but still no luck. I don't think it is a hardware problem since both devices aren't discovered.

Anybody gotten one of these things to work under XP or other Windows OS?

Not familiar with thisunit, but there are quatech 4-port units on ebay that you can get fo $20. There is a discussion thread on the Homeseer mesage board that has the link and setup info.
