Hello All,
Long time reader and I finally have a couple peices of equipment and am getting started on the HA journey. I just purchased and havent installed HAI OPII, still installing the panel and routing conduit. I have about 35 SA switches and a seperate video camera system installed already, someday I would like to combine them all though. I am an IT person by trade, I built our house 6 years ago and am constantly tinkering thats why the HA thing appeals to me, I get bored after a while and like to be constantly challenged. I prefer to hard wire everything so some challenges there with some of our windows and doors. After I get the OPII installed and configured I am very much leaning towards the Russound MCAC5 system and am not sure about speakers? any suggestions? I was leaning towards polk audio RC80i inside and definitive technology 6500 outside?
I am very much looking forward to reading, continueing to learn and then helping where I can.
