Hey All,
Since I need to post some more to not be classified as a spambot
I thought its about time I introduced myself.
I'm a homeowner that will be using an ELK (NESS) M1G in a new house we're building here. The project will be primarily security and access focused, and a little later hopefully involve some integration with CBUS lighting if I can afford it. Then when I have WAF I can muck around with some dinky things like reminding me to take out the trash.
I've already got my basic M1 kit courtesy of the training course and have wired it up to start bench testing various I/O components. After some simple teething issues it seems to be going well. Now I just need to buy some more expansion inputs etc and program up the core structure which will be later installed for me when the house is ready.
This forum has been invaluable in answering questions to date. I don't think I've been able to find a single question that hasn't been addressed yet so I'm pretty impressed by everyones input. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute myself based on my experiences over the coming years.
