Cheers for the welcome! the diy Market is a little bit behind you guys in terms of consumer knowledge, we just don't have the customer base for ha. the clients that do require a little bit of automation expect a crestron system and expect to pay the costs to suit.

so in answer to your question, hell yeah, I got a few stories of stuff that didn't quite work out - but many of stuff that did!

If only.... In London there's pretty much ONE contractor that deals with the HA in these types of homes and they've just been bought out by the developers!
Still I suppose its the same circus but a different tent....
