Help me automate my roman shades

My wife is making some roman shades and I would like to automate them some how. It appears the zwave stuff is still quite expensive and I was wondering if anyone has done this before. I have Homeseer for software and besides zwave I have x10 rf. I did run some 18/2 to windows before sheetrock went up.
