I am trying to setup a shared space within our house, shared between renter and main house. If i understand correctly, Area 1 is the area that is shared, and this is the only area that can be shared. Area 1 would need its own keypad to arm and disarm.
Area 2 (house) and Area 3 (rental) would need to be separate system, common to Area 1.
If Area 2 or 3 is disarmed through different entrance, then Area 1 will automatically disarm.
You could essentially have two separate Area 1 entrances on either side of the building (not touching), but they would each need a keypad if both were to be used as entrances.
Could Area 3 (rental) be disarmed when Area 1 is disarmed by renter and his access code? (i assume this could be done through rules?)
