Help with M1 Gold installation

I just installed an M2 Gold but I am having an issue with the zones. I have placed 220 resistors accross each of the 16 zone terminals. Zone one has my installed door contact (which is working correctly). When the system does is self diognostic it tells me that I have 8 zones violated. The zones are 2,3,6,7,10,11,14 and 15. A volt meter shows there are 0 VDC accross these terminals. I have Keypad and a M1XRFEG wired and both have the termination jumpers installed.....
 
What am I missing?

First of all, those should be 2200 resistors.  We'll assume that 220 is typo. 
The resistors that come with the control and boards are the ones you should be using.
 
From your description, it sounds like the resistors are not in series.
 
For example, you have a 22/2 cable with red and black going from the control to a contact.
At the control, connect the red and black to the z# and neg for the zone.
At the contact, conect the red to the contact, the black to the resistor, and then the resistor to the contact.

0VDC on a zone indicates the resistors are installed in parallel with the protective circuit. Once that is fixed, a voltage reading would then be able to determine if you installed the right resistors.

I got my Zone one working. This is the contact to my front door. When I move these wires over to zone two, it does not work. I am attaching a youtube video of my box.... The only two contacts I have hard wired are on zones 1 and 16. I have to bypass 8 of the 16 zones to the the system to work... but you will see all the zones that are not hooked up have resistors accross the contacts.
 
On a side note, I was able to enroll my wireless reciever and my motion sensor and Glass Break enrolled without a hitch.
 
Oh and Yes, I am using the resistors that came with the box.
 
Is it possible that i have something wrong with the M1? I can't find anywhere anyone else posting the situation that exactly one of each of the shared negative zones are not pulling a connection.

Its hard to tell for sure from the video, but it looks like you've got a miswire.
 
The terminals in the upper bank from top to bottom are:
 
z1
neg
z2
z3
neg
z4
z5
neg
z6
z7
neg
z8
 
That first resistor from the top looks likes its in z2,z3.

Thank you. I was not using my shared Ground properly and thus was shorting out every other zone.
 
Thank you for your help. I see now that that was a silly error, but I just could not see the trees through the forrest.
 
Now my next question...
How do you test a Hard Wired Glass break. I installed an AC-100 on zone 16. It is getting power off the M1 VAUX. I confirmed Power at the device. I have a 2200 in series on one of the legs going to the contact.My Sister in law broke a wine class so i too that out there and rebroke in in a papersack. The sensor did not trip... so I don't think it's working, but I really don't know.

Two ways I did this is get two blocks of wood and clap them together hard (so hard your palms will hurt slightly afterwards) right in front of the glassbreak.  Another is to do a loud down in the belly cough right into the sensor.
 
I have a third, have my son play hockey inside the house and hit the glass fireplace front cover with the puck; but, I really don't suggest this methodology be used unless steps one and two above don't work (I rent him out on an hourly basis)!

I am hoping that I have not bitten off more than I can chew with this install. I had zero trouble enrolling my wireless M1XRFEG and my PIR and Glass Shatter enrolled quickly, but now they are not working. The M1 says "transmitters not authorized". I hope that after I get the RP software downloaded its going to get easier.

As for testing the glass breaks, a 1 gallon ziplock of Legos thrown on the floor seems to set mine off about 99% of the time.  So do kids slamming doors.

Oddly enough a vacuum nozzel right up to the sensor works as well.  I was cleaning and found this out by accident.
