Help wring Elk M1 Speaker out to IntraSonic I1000M

I went through the manual and I'm having a hard time seeing any good way of making this work.  The Aux requires that the person have that on as a listening zone; and the doorbell/patio model appears to require someone to press the button which rings a doorbell sound, then someone to actually answer this by pressing a button on another station to initiate talkback.  Neither of these is a substitute for a Paging feature which will automatically output audio over all zones upon some sort of trigger.

Agree...The only way I see this working is if you can figure out a way to set the source from radio to aux whenever an announcement is made with the Elk, which I doubt is a simple contact closure.

Wonder if you can do a call/talk or all call from the station and then dump the audio into the station itself.
 
Probably going to be a soldering job to get it to work.

If it's doable, I don't think the patio station will do the trick - I think it'd need to be another room station; otherwise it'll likely ring the doorbell and wait for a response.
