I work for a business has these keypads (about 12 total). One has stopped working. When I try to activate with keyfob, the light stays red. None of the keyfobs will open this one door. all other doors work fine, no log entries in the security software.
Hardware problem??
 
I have had similar ones fail at my work, and we ended up just replacing them. I purchased one a few months ago from here:

Hope this helps. By the way, they are very easy to replace...pop off the cover using a slot screwdriver underneath the face of the reader, unscrew it from the mounting point, cut the wires, and rewire the new one. I woudl not suggest replacing it with power still on to the reader, but if you do, cut each wire one at a time, and strip the new ones as you connect them, so that you do not end up shorting anything. Once again, I would disconnect it from the 12v source if you can.
