How to control Z wave lights from droid cell phone

Hey all, I have thinkessentials software which works fine from my computer so far.

I am looking to incorporate my z wave world to my droid. What is the best and cheapest way? Should I remote desktop to my computer from my phone and use thinkessentials or is there some software out there to do this?

Any guidance?

Thank you.

It isn't the cheapest way but HomeSeer with HSTouch has a really nice interface.

If you have a droid you can load the app for free from the store and connect to the demo server to check it out if you like.

The Mi Casa Verde Vera 2 controller seems to offer the best bang for the buck when it comes to affordable controllers. AutoHTN and Home Buddy support the Vera 2 (I am reviewing this unit right now, and am testing it with a Droid), with Home Buddy being the more stable client. Plus you don't have to open up your firewall in order to get access to your devices. Review should be posted soon.

What are AutoHTN and Home Buddy? Pick those up from the marketplace for droid?

3rd Party apps on the Android market which support the Vera controller.

SWEET! Thanks! I heard mixed reviews on the VERA, but am thinking of springing for one.

My only question (I'm a noob) but what is the best way to accomplish this?

What I have right now is a thinkstick in my computer controlling my "office" light and a z wave plug in lamp module for my sons room to turn his night light off/on automatically.

I also have my harmony remote controlling my kitchen light which is attached to my living room.

What I want to have in the end, is this. . .

1) I want to continue to be able to control my office light from my computer but also control it remotely from my phone, and I am thinking of getting some z wave motion sensors so I can see which rooms have movement.

2) I want to control my living room fan/light from my harmony remote as well as kitchen light. I can currently do my kitchen but am told there is no z wave lamp module out yet.

3) I would like some form of alarm system that I can replace my current alarm with. I have an alarm setup from alarmsellout.com with motion sensors and door/window sensors I bought a year and a half ago. I am willing to bite the bullet take the loss on the system and buy another one, but it would be NICE if I don't have to replace all my wireless door/window sensors, and they will work with a new alarm panel. I would like to control that panel via internet and possibly my droid.

4) I have a 4 channel DVR camera system (zmodo) from cctvhotdeals.com that I can currently see via my droid (IP Cam viewer lite) and also through internet through my own dyndns.org account.

I want to integrate all of this as cost effective as possible and vera seems to possibly be the way to go, but would like some reassurance.

THANK YOU for your help :)

I found this app from CT android list. You might want to take a look at it and see if can work with what you already have now.
