How to monitor oven temperatures and get alerts

While not directly HA connected, I home that some of the exisiting technologies may be able to help me.

I am trying to set up a way to monitor an oven to see if the temperature drops below a certain degrees. I would like auto alerts as well as the ability of checking up the current temperatures.

I guess there may be a way of using the existing temperature probes in the oven, or I may need to put new ones in. There is no wired network there, so would need to be wifi capable.

Any suggestions?

There are a number of ways to do this. Do you want an "out of the box" solution or are you willing to write some code and put together some hardware? What is your budget? You say no wired network - is a wifi network in range or do you need cellular or something else? What are the existing temp probes hooked to, i.e. some sort of display/controller? You will get better answers if you provide more information.

I use a Maverick ET 732 cooking thermometer for bbq and it works well. There are indicividual probes for meat and oven temps and you can set maximum and minimum temps for each. It also has a wireless remote handheld device that you can carry around with you to receive alerts.
