Ideas for a maglock that goes onto an outside french door gate?

I'm looking for some creative ways to accomplish this. The doors are outside so the locks should be weatherproof and it's in MN so it has to hold up to the cold. I know I could use a Securitron M62FG - SASM but I'm not sure what I do with the fact they are french doors. Do I use this in conjuction with a manual pin the keeps one door stationary? Is there another product out there that will allow this on this door configuration.

The doors are wood so we are going to have to be creative with running wires as well.

Thanks

Since you said gate, I'm assuming that security concerns have been addressed and these are not "doors" but a gate as you stated in your title.

You need to keep the "slop" out of the gate, as there's only so much the armature can do, and I'm assuming there's a operator involved?

There's enough brackets out there, like Z-brackets and the like to facilitate adapting to most installations, however don't be surprised if custom is going to be needed.

Also, 1200# is very likely to cause damage to even most substantial gates, so as the armature gets pulled in, it may be likely that you can damage the gate and hardware itself, so a very robust construction and mounting hardware is going to need to be considered. You can also drop down to something like a M32 or similar with the same results.

Look at what you have to work with, how the gate(s) are going to close and have stops, otherwise the automatic lock factor is going to be a deal breaker. They'll also need to close together relatively close and tightly.
