Insteon ToggleLinc issues

I got some Insteon hardware to switch my exterior floodlights on at sunset and off at sunrise. Of course, before I get to that stage, I have to get the switches wired up, right? I had a three-way switch setup on one of the flood circuits, and both of the floodlights on the circuit had motion detection that was pretty much broken. I rewired the floods to turn on and off directly with the switch, and took one of the two switches out of the three-way setup. With a normal switch in the circuit, I can get the lights to manually turn on and off as desired with no problem. However, it's not working with the ToggleLinc. The ToggleLinc is getting power, because the LED is on, and the LED turns off and I hear a "click" when I push the switch up to turn the lights on. However, nothing happens with the lights.

Is this a problem with the wiring, or is the switch busted, or is there a different issue? I have tried multiple wiring combinations, none of which have worked.

If you still have 2 switches on the circuit, then both switches would need to be togglelincs where one togglelinc would control the load and the other togglelinc would tell the first togglelinc to turn the load on or off. A togglelinc cannot play the role as a standard three-way switch, unfortunately.

I removed the second switch in the three-way configuration, and the circuit is currently operating as two-way (I verified correct functionality with a regular switch).

Can you verify that the load wire (the red one) is hot when the toggle linc is "on"? If it is, then you have wired it wrong. If it is not hot, then you have a broken toggle linc.
