I got some Insteon hardware to switch my exterior floodlights on at sunset and off at sunrise. Of course, before I get to that stage, I have to get the switches wired up, right? I had a three-way switch setup on one of the flood circuits, and both of the floodlights on the circuit had motion detection that was pretty much broken. I rewired the floods to turn on and off directly with the switch, and took one of the two switches out of the three-way setup. With a normal switch in the circuit, I can get the lights to manually turn on and off as desired with no problem. However, it's not working with the ToggleLinc. The ToggleLinc is getting power, because the LED is on, and the LED turns off and I hear a "click" when I push the switch up to turn the lights on. However, nothing happens with the lights.
Is this a problem with the wiring, or is the switch busted, or is there a different issue? I have tried multiple wiring combinations, none of which have worked.
