Integerate your watchdog into your HA System...

This company, Bio-Sense, has a new system that allows you to wire up your watch dog(s) to monitor the quantity and intensity of their barks, along with RFID sensors to monitor their location so as to assess possible threats. You can set notification levels based on your needs (or your dog's activity) to text message you, etc..

The next logical step would be to have a live vid feed from the dog, no?

Instead of monitoring the intensity oif their bark... why not just have them tell you what they see?

We need a feed back loop so if the dog is barking at a non-threat we can discipline the dog so if will learn to only bark at serious threats. Then you get fewer law-suits from inadvertent laser burns.
